This is not Black & White 04' is the artist’s response to complex trauma—stemming from heartbreak, abuse, loss, and grief—has driven a shift from stark black-and-white imagery to a more nuanced, cathartic expression. This work reflects their ongoing grieving process, exploring feelings of hollow desperation and the attempt to fill the emptiness with something beyond the scars left behind.
